Eclectic Attic Apartment Uncovers All Its Beautiful Features
At 170 square meters, this apartment is quite massive. Located in Poznań, Poland, the apartment was redesigned by Cuns Studio and during the process, a lot of the original features of the building have been uncovered. This includes the original wooden floors, roof timbers as well as the brick walls. Exposed beams give the loft a certain rugged appearance, being complimented on one hand by a custom steel staircase leading up to the mezzanine floor and on the other hand by a combination of crisp white walls and exposed brick.
A very important detail which needs to be mentioned is that the apartment is very open and is not divided into separate enclosed spaces. Of course, the bedroom is a private space and the concept doesn’t apply to it. The entire apartment, main floor and attic, is also customized with various smart features which include the audio, video, lighting and climate systems. It’s a very modern home inside a rustic-industrial envelope and that gives it lots of character.
