Massive House In Brazil Embraces Its Prime Seaside Location
Situated by the sea on a sloped site, this house from Brazil is pretty huge but not in an overwhelming and imposing manner. It actually retains a pretty low profile as it embraces the slope and takes advantage of the scenery. The house encompasses 1200 square meters of living space (12916 square feet) which are organized at several different heights. This diversity of floor plans is due to the unusual topography of the land. The house was designed and built here by studio Hus Arquitetos in 2018.
The different floor levels create a smooth path down to the sea where a pier and a wood deck are located. There are three large volumes in total. One is the main area which contains the bedrooms, living room and kitchen.
This is where the owners spend most of their time, whether relaxing alone or enjoying the company of guests. The other two volumes are a caretaker’s house and a guest quarters. They each offer sufficient privacy while also taking in the gorgeous views and enjoying a strong connection with the outdoors.
