Charming House Is Italy Infused With A Century Old Reclaimed Wood
You can make a house feel special in a lot of ways and it doesn’t all have to do with the base architecture or the interior decor. This house from Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy is a relevant example. The place was renovated and remodeled by Outlinestudio74 in 2019. It has a minimalist design but at the same time it has a lot of character.
The designer achieved this beautiful combo by using reclaimed wood recovered from old barns in combination with local stone throughout the house. This immediately infuses the space with over a century of rich history, giving it a unique, warm and very welcoming feel.
The house includes an entrance hall, a kitchen, dining area, a living room with access to a large outdoor terrace, a master bedroom suite as well two additional bedrooms and extra bathrooms. Large windows bring the beautiful colors of nature inside the rooms and create a strong bond between the indoor and the outdoor spaces. The windows also frame wonderful views which are partially concealed by all the coniferous trees surrounding the house yet remain visible and amazing.
