A New Coffee Shop in Bangkok Draws Everyone In With Its Eclectic Design
A lot of things can guarantee the success of a coffee shop. Things like location, great flavor, good service and an outstanding design can potentially help it stand and become a landmark. The new location of the Kaizer coffee co. definitely has that last part covered. This was a project completed by architecture and interior design studio Space+craft earlier this year. The new coffee shop is located in Bangkok, Thailand. It’s a beautiful double-height space with a service bar at the bottom and a seating area with a balcony above that.
The front facade is all made of glass and offers a panoramic view of the shop’s interior, revealing the inviting ambiance inside. There’s 100 square meters of space here in total. A big section of it is a double-height volume which includes the area right in front of the bar. Alongside it, a staircase leads up to a seating area with a flexible furniture layout designed to accommodate a variety of different groups. A key design element for both floors is the wood-lined wall that has on it a large disc illuminated from behind. The bar and adjacent wall are also very eye-catching, featuring a concrete brick pattern complemented by dark wooden accents.
